The control device of construction equipment

An apparatus for controlling construction equipment is provided to instantaneously lower an input torque by controlling the rotational speed of an engine and the plate tilting angle of a pump when a pedal or a lever is not operated. An apparatus for controlling construction equipment includes variable capacity type hydraulic pumps(6a,6b), pressure switches(12a,12b,12c), negative pressure sensors(11a,11b), a controller(1), a plate tilting angle control unit(3), and a rotational speed control unit(4). The hydraulic pumps are driven by an engine to supply a fluid into a passage. The pressure switches detect manipulation states of a pedal and a lever provided in the passage according to pressure signals generated when a spool is closed. The negative pressure sensors detect negative pressures generated in a bypass line of the passage. The controller calculates a horse power value of the engine and the pump according to detection signals of the pressure switches and the negative pressure sensors and outputs the calculated horse power value. The plate tilting angle control unit is provided in the hydraulic pump to control the plate tilting angle of the hydraulic pump according to a rise of the horse power value output from the controller. The rotational control unit is provided in the engine to regulate the rotational speed of the engine according to the horse power value output from the controller.
