Adaptive educational environments for cognitive skills acquisition
暂无分享,去创建一个
This tutorial deals with the cognitive skills based adaptive educational environments - an approach to designing tutoring systems that has been very effective, especially within applied domains where the learning is predominantly concerned with acquiring operational knowledge. Since such environments can accommodate both the 'instruction' and 'construction' of knowledge and actively engage the learner, they have been successful. This is evident from the popularity and wide acceptance of simulation based tutoring systems. This tutorial aims to demonstrate and discuss various aspects of actually implemented systems, with a view to provide intelligent educational system developers and implementers with the knowledge they need in order to make informed decisions about such environments.
