Vibration and Noise Monitoring System for Generator Units Based on USB

A new fault monitoring system which combine vibration parameter and noise parameter was developed.Data transfer and communication in the system was highlighted.By converting RS-485 serial communication into USB,data transfer between data acquisition module and LabVIEW was implemented,and also adjust conveniently at site and improve the rate of data transfer.In a word,the system achieved the purpose of monitoring the status of generator units efficiently.
