Performance analysis of an iterative CAC algorithm of stepped link capacity for ATM networks

This paper presents and analyses a call admission controller algorithm for ATM networks. We divide the link capacity into a flight of stairs, and make the decisions to accept or reject calls by an iterative procedure.
