Surface Structures and Ferromagnetic Domain Sizes

Studies of the domain structures in the surface layers of crystals of iron and silicon-iron having (111) and (h0l) type faces, have permitted calculations to be made of the optimum domain sizes in iron crystals as dependent on the crystallographic orientations of their faces and on their sizes.
