CMOS CIDITA and its application

The CMOS implementation of active element current inverting differential input transconductance amplifier (CIDITA) along with its performance parameters are presented in this paper. The presented study shows the good performance of the CIDITA in terms of dynamic range, bandwidth, accuracy and power consumption. A new circuit of single active element based quadrature oscillator is further realized to explore the workability of the CIDITA. The frequency of oscillation of the proposed oscillator is electronically controllable. HSPICE simulation results using 0.18 µm CMOS parameters are given to validate the proposed theory.
