Die KONTIVs im Zeitvergleich : Möglichkeiten und Schwierigkeiten beim Vergleich der Erhebungswellen

The contribution presents methodological problems of longitudinal analyses of KONTIV 1976 to 1989 and MID 2002. The analyses include indicators of travel participation in general, for specific trip purposes and for travel mode choice, as well as activity patterns and goodness-of-fit measures of regression models of travel behaviour. the results indicate more reliable data concerning shopping and leisure trips in MID 2002, as compared to the former KONTIV waves. On the other hftnd, job trips are underreported. From the results some recommendafhws are derived for longitudinal analyses of KONTIV and for future KONTIV waves.
