Alternatives for Precast Pile Splices -- Part 2

This project involved the design and field testing of a splice for square precast prestressed concrete piles containing a cylindrical void. The pile splice incorporates a steel pipe grouted into the cylindrical void. Part 2 of the report deals with field testing the splice and contains the results of the field testing along with recommended construction and installations guidelines. Part 1 contains the design of the pile splice for tension, compression, flexure, and shear.
