An Improved Digital Carrier Synchronization Method for UQPSK

UQPSK carrier synchronization method is widely used in digital satellite communication and UAV transmission of ground and tracking system. But the related recovery methods are mostly aimed at analog signals, or the complexity of the loop is difficult to achieve. Therefore, an improved method of digital UQPSK carrier synchronization is proposed, which mainly uses decision feedback phase locked loop with characteristics of the UQPSK signal constellation. Phase compensation can be realized rapidly and phase can be captured under the condition of low SNR with fast convergence speed. Through the simulation of UQPSK carrier synchronization system and analysis, the BER of improved UQPSK carrier synchronization method is similar to the theoretical BER, and the system has high reliability.
