Method and HRTFs of individualizing device modeling

The present invention relates to the modeling of individual transfer functions HRTFs (for "Head Related Transfer Functions") relating to the hearing of an individual in three dimensional space. According to the invention: - by learning on the basis of data including a plurality of HRTFs in all directions in space and for many individuals, we construct a model based on an artificial neural network capable of calculating HRTFs for any direction of the space, from a set of measurements, even rough HRTFs in directions set arbitrarily, and- for any individual: o coarsely measure its HRTFs only in the directions set arbitrarily, o the above model is applied to these measures eto gives the HRTFs of the individual in any space.
