Co-simulation of the Luffing Boom Mechanism System for the Hydraulicrock Drill Rig

This paper describes the geometry model and the hydraulic driving mode of boom luffing mechanism for the hydraulic rock drilling rig.The virtual prototype of the boom luffing mechanism is built and co-simulation of the double triangle boom luffing mechanism virtual prototype is done based on the AMESim software.Through Simulating the actual movement of the boom,the main factors for the boom positioning accurately,that is,drill rod moving in parallel are identified.
