Analysis on Failure Propagation Characteristics of Doubly-fed Induction Wind Power Generation System Based on Small-world Network

Analyzing failure propagation characteristics of doubly-fed wind power generation system can help to find out the highest risk path of failure propagation of doubly-fed wind power generation system to provide a basis for status-based maintenance of the system,thus to reduce the overall maintenance cost and improve the reliability of the system.In this paper,the topological structure of doubly-fed induction wind power generation system is analyzed,and a model of failure propagation relationship among the components of the system is established on the basis of the small-world network theory.Then,the failure propagation strength is given through analyzing the influence of the network structure on the failure propagation,and the highest risk path of failure propagation is ascertained by using optimization algorithm.The calculation results are consistent with the actual operation situation of the doubly-fed induction wind power generator.
