Performance improvement on dual active bridge converter using CLLC resonant network with separated capacitor and inductor

A resonant dual-active bridge (DAB) converter, which employs a separated tuned capacitor-inductor-inductor-capacitor in specified connection has been proposed. This new topology significantly reduces the bridge currents as well as lowering losses. Mathematical analysis and simulation in MATLAB R2013b has been performed. The simulation results indicate that proposed topology has 96% efficiency, lower THD and improved performance.
