Numerical Simulation of Droplet-particle Flow in the Scrubber for FGD

The movement tracks of droplet and particle in the SHG-II-Z scrubber is simulated by using FLUENT package.The calculation is based on RNGk-e turbulent model and discrete phase model,SIMPLEC algorithm is used in the simulation.The results show that diameter and injection type of the particles and diameter and injection type of the droplets have great effect on desulfurization efficiency,the numerical results are of great significance for optimum design of the scrubber.
