Crab Scrap Compost Demonstration

Environmental concerns for waste disposal, increased costs and expected restrictions on landfills, and a mandated effort for recycling resources have all inspired an interest in alternative waste disposal processes. This article describes the development of a low-tech composting system for blue crab processing waste as an alternative to landfill disposal.
