Illumination of Polygons with Vertex Lights

We show that vertex floodlights of angle π suffice to illuminate any polygon, and that no angle less than π suffices for all polygons. A vertex floodlight of angle α is an internal cone of light of aperture no more than α with apex at a vertex. No vertex may have more than one floodlight.
