Rich Interaction for Training Collaboration Work in Future Mobile Virtual Enterprise

This paper proposes changes in the last year’s proposed reference model for future Mobile Virtual Enterprise so that it will fit the challenges of training people in collaboration work. Augmented Reality and Game design concepts are proposed as a better environment for deploying applications supporting the training of collaboration work in the new areas of Mobile Virtual Enterprise. The new framework is described and a small empirical study is presented covering the issues of interaction and collaboration in education and training. In the study, 24 participants were involved and the target used was mostly an un-experienced group of users. Using the framework and game design paradigms, the researchers aim to enhance the training methods for collaborative work. The team of researchers consisted of various multi-disciplinary fields teams, from psychological to communication experts, and promises to bring more light into the development of training platforms for future virtual environments and applications.
