Multimodal Measurement of Cell Culture Conditions Using Hydrogel Culture Substrate having Fluorescence Microsensors

We proposed multimodal measurement for spatiotemporal monitoring interactions between cells and environment using hydrogel substrate having fluorescence sensor pillars. We measured local change of [Ca2+] and pH and demonstrated the culture of the osteoblast precursor cell on the hydrogel surface.
