The present invention relates to an electric compensation method of large view filed off-axis digital HUD image source and optical system installation and adjustment precision. The electric compensation method is based on the principle that due to the image source installation tolerance, the center of a distortion picture and the center of an optical system can not match completely, so that the display precision of an HUD is reduced, and a pre-distortion correction effect becomes bad. According to the present invention, by enabling the resolution of an input picture to be less than the image source display resolution and setting the two parameter registers in the horizontal and vertical directions, the position of a pre-distortion picture at an image source is adjusted, so that the center of the distortion picture and the center of the optical system align, namely, the distortion characteristics of the pre-distortion picture are consistent with the distortion characteristics of the optical system. The advantage of the present invention is that: under the premise of not sacrificing the integrity of the input picture, the picture display quality and the display precision of the HUD are improved.
