Active push technology for multidisciplinary auxiliary knowledge in product design

Product design is a comprehensive process which has multidisciphnary knowledge employed. It is necessary that using knowledge active push technology in intelligent design after the analysis of the classification and characteristics of product design auxiliary knowledge. Workflow is used to express design process, and the product design auxiliary knowledge active push architecture is built up, which is composed of knowledge management layer, knowledge resources layer, workflow layer and application layer. Composition and extraction methods of design mission features are studied; knowledge active push method driven by design mission feature is discussed and a control model is established. Matched knowledge unit (MKU) is constituted of design mission features interpretation, push pattern information and the pushed knowledge; a push knowledge matching algorithm based on the similarity of text is put forward. This knowledge active push system can fuse some auxiliary design principles and related data into design process to provide real-time support for product design. (5 pages)
