Fuzzy Control of Sensory Quality of Cut Tobacco During Drying

In order to improve the on_line control standard of sensory quality stability of cut tobacco during drying, the method of using representative value of language term and fuzzy control graphic was experimented. The results indicated that with this method it was possible to find out the abnormal fluctuations of sensory quality of cut tobacco during drying, and, further, to evaluate the sensory quality stability of input tobacco. When the process was stable and the proportions of tobacco between different batches were in high uniformity, the control graphics for analysis purposes could be converted into the control graphics for management purposes and became an integral system, by combining with technological parameters, to be used to control and adjust cut tobacco drying process.
