Universal software radio peripheral for ground penetrating radar prototyping

The scope of this discussion paper is to briefly shows the main issues related to the design of an efficient and low-cost Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) system for scientific research and academic courses based on National Instruments USRP-2920. The papers summarizes part of the research carried out within the framework of RMN 675/2012 and RMN 874/2013 projects and formulates the conditions for effective and low-cost GPR system.
