Magnetic and Structural Properties Analysis of Cerium Substituted Nickel–Zinc Ferrites

The influence of Ce<sup>3+</sup> ions substitution for Fe<sup>3+</sup> ions in Ni<sub>0.42</sub>Zn<sub>0.58</sub>Ce<sub><italic>x</italic></sub>Fe<sub>2−<italic>x</italic></sub>O<sub>4</sub>(<italic>x</italic> = 0, 0.02, 0.04, 0.06, 0.08, and 0.10) compounds on the selected magnetic properties and structure was investigated. The samples were synthesized by means of wet glycine–nitrate technology annealed at the temperature 1200 °C for 6 h. The wide spectrum of characterization methods, such as X-ray spectroscopy, Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX) analysis, SEM micrographs, thermomagnetic analysis, magnetic hysteresis loop measurement, and complex permeability spectra, was used for the study of relevant properties of synthetized materials.
