The Analysis of Planning Activities using the DEMO Transaction Process Model 1

This paper presents a case study in which communication b etween o ffice workers is analysed and discussed using the DEMO approach for systems modelling. The high level communication analysis is extended with the transaction process model for a detailed view of t he c ommunication pa tterns. The results of t he application o f t he method and its extensions are useful for the analysis of the organisation's structure and IS infrastructure.
