SenseGraph: Affect Self-monitoring and Tagging Tool with Wearable Devices

Affective computing systems require unobtrusive and non distracting system setups especially for the measurement and recording of the physiological signals. Implementing them with wearable devices we facilitate self-monitoring and tagging in the wild. In this paper the affective self-assessment application called SenseGraph is presented. It allows real-time measuring and recording of Heart Rate, Galvanic Skin Response, Temperature and Accelerometer values from two selected, state-of-the-art wearable devices. Moreover it allows the tagging of the current affective state by choosing a predefined area in the Arousal-Valence plane. Envisioned future uses in social communication are are briefly described.
