Performance reliability response surface plays an important role in reliability quantitative design for flight control system of UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). Integrating reliability and performance design is implemented by building system integrating simulation model, which includes performance simulation model, disturbance model and universal interface. Based on mission demands and performance requirements, performance reliability response surface method (PRRSM) is proposed to support optimization of Design-Dependent Parameters (DDPs) in order to improve performance reliability for flight control system of UAV. Detailed steps of applying the proposed method are given. PRRSM is demonstrated through a flight control system of UAV.
