The retrieval of foreign objects from root canals: a simple aid.

A simple device to aid in the removal of foreign objects from root canals—easily assembled using a disposable dental injection needle, a segment of thin steel wire, and a small mosquito hemostat—is presented. Methods found to be effective in different situations are discussed in detail. The advantages it offers should make it a useful device in the dentist's office.
