Computational fluid dynamics(CFD) for platform fire in underground subway station has been performed. One subway station in Pusan city was selected to predict the heat and smoke flow according to the opened, closed platform screen door(PSD) and 4 ventilation operation modes. This model for CFD was divided into 8 cases and were analyzed to find out which case was optimized to heat removal and refining effect. In case of PSD close mode, case 1 is better than the others. In case of PSD open mode, the results of case 5~8 were similar. PSD close mode is better than PSD open mode, and these results would be utilized to the design of ventilation system as a base line data.
