Pricing Models for Internet Services

Suitable pricing models for Internet services represent one of the main prerequisites for a successfully running implementation of a charging and accounting tool. This report starts introducing a couple of general aspects influencing the choice of a pricing model and presents a survey about the relevant approaches to be found in the scientific literature. The following section allows insight into the issue from an ISP point of view and discusses possibilities as well as problems in a more practical context. A short summary concludes the report.
