Case-Based Problem Solving Methods for Parametric Design Tasks

We discuss a solution to a parametric design problem, which is based on the integration of case-based reasoning and heuristic search techniques. Four algorithms for case-based design are described which exploit both general properties of parametric design tasks and application specific heuristic knowledge.
