Power system probabilistic production simulation including large scale grid-connected photovoltaic generation

With increasing size and unit capacity of photo-voltaic power generation, the impacts of photovoltaic generation on the power system have become increasingly prominent. This paper presents one methodology to evaluate the impact of photo-voltaic generation in the random production simulation. The algorithms used to solve probabilistic production simulation is equivalent energy function method. Which used to assess the photovoltaic power generation system connected to its influence on power system operation. The core of algorithm is the time-series load curve that transformed into continuous load curve. The result obtained for IEEE-RTS 24 system verified the correctness and effectiveness of the proposed method.
