Research and design of a BCI system model based on SVM

Brain-Computer Interface(BCI) is a communication system that connects the brain with computer and peripheral equipments.Brain-computer interface system is a new kind of computer application systems,which provides a communication and control channel between human and external devices by using BCI,without the normal output channel of periphery nerve and muscular,to replace the body movement or language,in order to implement the communication and control with the outside world.In this paper,after introducing the BCI2000 system,a BCI system design method is demonstrated based on SVM as the pattern classification method.The model primarily completes the application of controlling the direction of the concur movement by the classification of imaginary left and right hand movements of EEG.
