An Analysis Method of Fault Data for Truck Engines

An analytical method of the fault data for a truck engine is presented which includes the statistical analysis method of the fault distribution for the different fault modes of the same part and the estimation method of the mean time to first failure.Based on analyzing the cumulative data of the engine failure,it can be obtained that the fault distribution rule,predicted that the mean time to first failure and judged that the fault causes of the failure part,which provides a foundation for engine trouble eliminating.The application shows that the above-mentioned method can improve the fault diagnosis efficiency and reduce the maintenance cost of the engine.
