Telediagnostic platform for uterus cancer risk diminution in Mexico

Uterus cancer diagnosis in Mexico confronts a complex problem of high disease incidence, combined with considerable delays introduced by the current diagnostic procedure, particularly in rural zones. This paper presents the scenario, use cases, architecture and conceived prototype of a telediagnostic platform, proposed as a suitable alternative to improve uterus cancer diagnosis in Mexican rural zones. Such platform is intended to reduce the risk of delayed pathology identification, by means of opportune patient data exchange between numerous pathology technicians and few specialized pathologists.
