The momentum spectrum of electrons from muon decay

A magnetic spectrometer has been used to measure e momentum spectrum of electrons from the decay of positive and negative muons. For the positive particles the Michel ρ parameter was found to be 0.661 ± 0.016 and for the negative particles 0.64 ± 0.04.
