Cup and Stem Navigation with the VectorVision System

The Vector Vision Hip software offers a package of applications which help the surgeon to deal with all kinds of hip from the instant use of the imageless software to the high sophisticated planning module of the CT-based application. Our results show that component alignment can significantly be improved compared to the conventional technique. Nevertheless, the higher precision is connected to extra costs for the hard- and software and a lengthening of the OR-time.
