Multi-period PM-NOLM with dynamic counter-propagating effects compensation for 5-bit all-optical analog-to-digital conversion

We propose a dynamic compensation scheme of counter-propagating effect using PM-NOLM, and demonstrate a truly dynamic 8-period input/output optical transfer function, usable for 5-bit quantizing and encoding, a crucial number for the front-end of DSP.
