Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) is an important foundation for the smart grid. As fundamental equipment of AMI, smart meters collect interval measurements from customer sites and thus provide system wide visibility for power companies. This paper uses the power measurements of smart meters as the pseudo-measurement of transformer load instead of the traditional pseudo-measurement for state estimation, which increases the measurements redundancy and improves the accuracy by using the multiple measurements of AMI smart meters. It realizes the state estimation for the low-voltage distribution network.
