To track a projectile and then to obtain its flying attitude is very important for the design and control of high-speed projectile. In order to measure the attitude of projectile, a high-speed binocular stereo vision system with digital image correlation technique (H3D-DIC) is designed and constructed by using two different types of high-speed cameras. And, the correlation program which is able to correct image magnification and pixel size parameters of different types of cameras is completed. Finally, an experiment to track a flying arrow is performed and the profile of the arrow body is measured. Based on the experimental result, the flying attitude of the flying arrow is analyzed. The experiment verifies validity of the H3D-DIC system.
