Effect of distributed energy resources on load and loss factors of energy distribution networks

In recent years, energy distribution companies have been faced with new challenges such as growing energy demands and greenhouse gas emission. Distributed energy resources are remarkable solutions to overcome the aforementioned problems, but integration of distributed energy resources to energy distribution networks provides some technical challenges for energy distribution companies. In this paper, effect of distributed energy resources such as CHP, wind, energy storage and demand response programs are evaluated on electric distribution networks. In doing so, energy hub approach is used to model distributed energy resources on energy distribution networks. Furthermore, the proposed energy hub is scheduled under integration of the aforementioned technologies.
