KURUVILLA, C., et al.: Inappropriate Mode Switching in a Dual Chamber Pacemaker Due to Oversensing of a High Frequency Signal from a Conductor/Ring Discontinuity (Loose Set Screw). Two unusual cases are reported of pacemaker oversensing of the impedance pulse by the atrial channel attributed to a loose set screw.
