Conceptual Design of an 800MWe Supercritical Pressure Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler

Ambient circulating fluidized bed (ACFB) is believed to be the most commercial clean coal combustion technology,but its thermal efficiency is not as good as expected. Large capacity circulating fluidized bed boiler with supercritical pressure and higher temperature steam (SCPCFB) combines advantage in the higher thermal efficiency of supercritical pressure steam steam circle and the advantages in environmental protection of ACFB combustion technology. The water hydrodynamic performance of SCPCFB furnace wall water is safer because of the special heat load distribution,while its desulphurization and lower NO x emission investment and cost is less than pulverized coal fired (PC) plus flue gas desulphurization (FGD) and selected catalytic reaction (SCR). Thus SCPCFB is paid more attention for next generation clean coal combustion technology. The update progress of SCPCFB is summarized,and an 800MWe SCPCFB boiler conceptual design is also introduced.
