The network coding based on synchronization in wireless mesh networks self-similar traffic

The wireless mesh networks traffic is of self-similarity and the network performance is degraded by self-similar traffic. Network coding is a new technology which improves networks performance. In this paper, an algorithm was presented that used network coding to reduce the queue length and the delay time when self-similar traffic was occurred. The algorithm was based on synchronization after data packets are classified by destination address and lengths. Comprehensive simulations and results show that the delay time and queue length is shorter.
