Automobile Driver Characteristics and Capabilities-The Man-Off-The-Street

Loss of vehicle control accounts for a significant number of high severity accidents involving single vehicles in non-urban areas and, research indicates, is often directly attributable to the driver. This paper presents the results of one such clinical driver behavior study conducted by the Calspan Corporation for General Motors. /Author/
