Towards Query Processor over Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks

In this paper, we propose an adaptive query processor for heterogeneous WSN databases. The query processor can perform lots of queries, simultaneously, adaptively and optimally. It, also, can perform various kinds of query types such as snapshot, periodic, event, stream and spatial query. Finally, we implemented it composed of interface manager, query executor, sensor data manager and connection manager. Then, it was simply evaluated by performing multiple queries over real sensor networks and simulating buffering of sensor data.
