Velocity Measurement System of High-frequency String-firing Bullet

Because of the interference of shell tail shock wave and muzzle blast,the conventional velocity measurement system consisting of sky screen and chronometry can not measure the velocity of high-frequency string-firing bullet.Aiming at this problem,a new system consisting of sky screen and data acquisition instrument was proposed,and it can measure the velocity of string-firing bullet.The data acquisition instrument records the data of the analog signal produced by sky screen.The acquired data were analyzed and processed,and the shock wave signal was distinguished.The velocity of every bullet and firing frequency were obtained,and the measurement results were displayed.The anti-interference ability of the designed system is good,and the system can be used not only to measure single-firing bullet but also to measure string-firing bullet.
