Study on Parking Information Behavior in Large and Medium-sized Cities

This paper analyzed the characteristics of the parking information in the urban area from the aspects of time,space,parking facility,parking rates and parking duration.The influence of the respondent attributes and trip information,such as journey purpose,vehicle ownership,walking distance and time on the parking behaviors are analyzed.The relationships among parking behaviors are also focused on.It then summarized the major characters of parking information in the urban area and analyzed the key of the unbalance between parking supply and demand.At last,this paper put forward four methods for urban parking management.
