Modeling Design Data and Design Processes in the PLAYOUT CAD Framework

A comprehensive CAD framework considers data management and process management equally. It is based on an information or design model that describes both aspects consistently. In this chapter we present the design model of the PLAYOUT design system. The model consists of five partial models.
