Chaos-Based Differential Evolution Algorithm

Differential Evolution (DE) is an evolutionary computation technique, which has gained much attention and some applications in the past decade. Among the DE' s advantages are its simple structure, ease of use, speed and robustness. Based on the ergodicity of chaos, a hybrid DE algorithm (CDE) is proposed to greatly improve the performance of DE in terms of few control parameters, optimization speed, convergence and search capability. It is applied to a set of high dimensional benchmark test functions, and the experimental results illustrate its feasibility, efficiency and robustness.
