Holographic reciprocity law failure.

Previous authors have reported a falloff in diffraction efficiency of reconstructed images in multiple-exposure holograms. We call this phenomenon holographic reciprocity law failure. We propose an explanation for this phenomenon based on latent image formation in photographic materials and discuss a method for superimposing holograms that reconstruct images of equal brightness.
